Nepalese authorities announced that 118 Nepalese people and one British man were pulled alive from the rubble nearly a week after the disaster.
In a press conference, rescue workers shared updates on the ongoing search for survivors after a deadly flood.
The British man rescued today has not been identified, but he was one of 33 nationals unaccounted for.
The death toll from catastrophic flooding in Nepal and China has passed more than 1,000 people.
On Saturday, a rapid deployment team from the UK arrived in Nepal to provide support for Britons and their families.
The team, comprising specially trained crisis response staff, will work alongside the British embassy and local authorities.

The Sahus are some of the Brits missing after father Santosh, wife Surabhi and their two children vanished during the flood.
Their youngest, Syna Kumari Sahu, at just 13, is the youngest Briton still missing in the flooding disaster in Nepal.
Santosh’s brother Murali told Metro all his family, back in London, can do is wait by the phone for any updates and share their photo on social media.
He said: ‘We spoke for the last time over the phone on Tuesday. They were enjoying themselves in Khatmandu.
‘We really miss them. It’s been a week and we still haven’t heard anything from them. The embassy have been helping us but there is no information.’
Getting emotional, he addressed them directly: ‘For God’s sake, please call just once. We are praying for you every day.
In his first appearance as Prime Minister in the House of Commons today, Andy Burnham addressed the missing Brits.
‘I know I also speak for the whole House in expressing my profound shock and horror at the devastating scenes on the Nepal-China border,’ he said.
‘My sympathies are with all those affected, including the families and loved ones of those missing in this appalling tragedy. The Foreign Secretary is doing everything he can to support the Nepalese government and British nationals in the region.
‘This is what the climate crisis looks like. We have just ourselves experienced what is likely to have been the hottest summer on record. This Government will meet the climate challenge, and I can confirm to the House that I will attend Cop 31 in Turkey in November.’
