A Northern Ireland based building firm has been given the go-ahead to undertake a multi-million euro housing development in county Monaghan.
GEDA Construction Company Ltd, whose headquarters are located in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, have secured conditional approval for the construction of 49 new homes at Tully, on the outer fringes of Monaghan town.
Just under half, or 22 of those prospective residences have been designed as three bedroom homes with a further 14 consisting of five semi-detached two bedroom bungalows and nine semi-detached four bedroom houses.
Eleven terraced style two bedroom houses have also been included with the development expected to be completed courtesy of a single four bedroom bungalow and a two bedroom semi-detached home.
GEDA bosses have similarly outlined proposals to install public lighting to its proposed development together with a new entrance and access road.
Monaghan County Council have since rubber-stamped GEDA Construction’s plans subject to 24 conditions.
