Gardaí are investigating a car crash in Tramore, Co Waterford, that has left two teenagers in hospital.
They are appealing for witnesses following the single-vehicle incident that occurred at Reisk, Dunhill, at approximately 11.55pm on Tuesday night.
Both teenagers, who were passengers in the car were injured, with the male rushed to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The female teenager has been brought to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
No other injuries have been reported.
The road is currently closed for technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area between 11.20pm on Tuesday and 12.20am on Wednesday, are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
