A Wexford waterproofing business recently celebrated its recent growth with a special training day and Summer barbecue.

Rascor Waterproofing UK & Ireland, based in Gorey recently brought its team together for a company training day, followed by its annual summer BBQ for employees and their families.

The special day aimed to celebrate a successful six months for Rascor, who have continued to grow across Ireland, the UK and progressing in the European and American data centre markets.

“Rascor’s success over the past six months is a credit to the hard work and commitment of its team,” a spokesperson said.

During the training day, employees got a better understanding of how each part of the company works together and were joined by Mary Grady from the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, who spoke about the practical, financial and emotional support available to construction workers and their families.

“It was a chance for everyone to relax, spend time together and recognise what has been achieved during a very busy period,” they added.

Rascor is now working on projects in Portugal and Germany and has taken important steps into the United States. “This growth represents a major achievement for a business that has built its reputation from its base here in Gorey.”

Employing over 100 people across its operations, Gorey remains at the heart of operations, staying involved in the local community by supporting clubs and initiatives in the area.

“The company is proud of how far it has come and equally proud to remain a major local employer and an active part of the Gorey community.”
