Wexford bridges and quay to be closed for night works

A busy Wexford bridge and quay front will be closed for a number of nights to complete essential works.

Wexford County Council (WCC) will be implementing a temporary road closure of the R-772 Enniscorthy Bridge, Seamus Rafter Bridge and Abbey Quay.

The closure will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Wednesday, September 9 to Friday, September 11.

There will be rolling road closures with diversions in place, which will be signposted. Motorists are being told to expect delays and to use alternative routes where possible.

These works are weather dependent and as such may be subject to change at short notice, and WCC apologises for any inconvenience caused.
