A Wexford road is set to close temporarily to road users for two days to facilitate resurfacing roadworks.
The road closure was announced by Wexford County Council for the closure of Éire Street in Gorey, just off of the Main Street to facilitate road resurfacing works.
The road closure is set to take place across two days, where Éire Street will be closed from Tuesday, September 8 until Wednesday, September 9. Roadworks will be carried out from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. over the two days.
During this time, road users are asked to give extra time when driving in the area as they may experience some minor delays while road works are being carried out.
Diversions will be in place, while alternative routes will be signposted.
Traffic management is also currently in place along Esmonde Street as works continue on the long-awaited multi-million development project to revitalise the street.
Any changes to the ongoing works will be updated through Wexford County Council’s live text alert service.
