A man has died following a shooting in Sydney’s south-west.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene at a car park at a community centre in Punchbowl, but he could not be saved.

NSW Police were called to the site at about 5.50pm on Wednesday following reports of a shooting, with a crime scene now established.

Police say a vehicle was spotted driving away from the area after the incident.

The man has not yet been identified.

Investigations are ongoing.
