EX-TOWIE star James Lock has landed a huge acting role alongside EastEnders legend Micahel Greco, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
James, 39, quit The Only Way is Essex in 2023 after spending 10 years on the ITV reality show.

Now he’s turned his attention to acting and will star in Killing Time, the upcoming movie from director Michael Head and Frankham Films.
Joining James in the flick is former EastEnders heartthrob Michael Greco, known for his role as Beppe di Marco in the BBC One soap.
James’ character Jim in Killing Time has been described by insiders as “sexy, suave and very likeable”.
A source said: “This is a huge deal for James.

“He’s had small parts in a couple of films but this is his first starring role and he’s in great company.
“It’s a chance for him to really show off his talent and prove he’s not just another former reality TV star. Fans will be pleasantly surprised when they see him in action.”
Filming for Killing Time kicks off next week and James will also be working with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star Alan Ford and Simon Callow, who appeared alongside Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Director Michael Head’s latest release was Jackie The Stripper, which starred Katie Price, Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, Hollyoaks’ Jamie Lomas and Patsy Kensit, who recently made a big return to Emmerdale as Sadie King.

During his time on Towie, James had relationships with Danielle Armstrong and Yazmin Oukhellou but recently joked that “he’s the problem” when it comes to romance.
Speaking on the Suddenly Single podcast, he said: “How do I meet women? Well, I don’t, do I?
“I don’t know what’s going on. You tell me. But yeah, maybe it is me.
“Maybe what all my exes have been saying all along, it is me. I’m a problem. I don’t know.”
