A STRETCH of the M25 will remain shut overnight after a horror lorry crash saw a truck “jack-knifed” and diesel spilled everywhere.
The huge lorry ended up sideways across the anti-clockwise carriageway at junction 27 for the M11 near Epping, Essex.
Its fuel tank ruptured in the smash, sending diesel leaking across the road and sparking a major emergency response.
Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue and National Highways crews all rushed to the scene in the height of rush hour.
Drivers face a nightmare with the motorway set to remain closed overnight while the carriageway is resurfaced.
National Highways said: “No serious injuries were reported from the collision.
