(CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FSE: 89N) (“MAX Power” or the “Company”), further to its September 8, 2026 news release, is pleased to provide the following exploration and operational update from its Lawson Natural Hydrogen Discovery in south-central Saskatchewan where the Company has delineated Canada’s first subsurface Natural Hydrogen system.

- Highly prospective zone: A 20.5-meter interval with evidence of strong permeability and porosity was intersected between 2,290 meters and 2,310.5 meters (measured depth) in the basal Cambrian Sandstone unit, immediately above the Precambrian basement complex and a deep crustal fault (conduit) believed to be sub-vertical in orientation.
- Best readings to date: The above 20.5-m section was cored (96.6% recovery) and featured increasingly elevated Natural Hydrogen readings including the highest recorded to date at Lawson, based on drill rig gas detection equipment.
- Exotic terrane source rocks continue: The next 30.9 meters (2,310.5 m to 2,341.4 m) was also cored, for a total core interval of 51.4 meters (98% recovery), and included very elevated Natural Hydrogen readings and highly favorable mafic-ultramafic source rocks.
- Key structure: The dip, strike, and extent of the crustal fault (conduit) beginning at 2,310.5 meters remains unknown – upcoming core analysis will greatly assist in evaluating this important structure, while GLJ is also reviewing geophysical data.
- Valuable new data: The Company’s evolving geological model indicates that the relationship between the basal Cambrian Sandstone (lowermost Deadwood Formation) and the Precambrian basement complex may provide an important combination of gas migration pathways, reservoir development, structural trapping and seal integrity.
- Multiple zones: From the helium-dominant Interlake Formation (first cores recovered from the Interlake at Lawson between 2,001 meters and 2,031.6 meters, 97% recovery) to the Precambrian basement complex, Lawson 4 has returned multiple zones of interest for both Natural Hydrogen and Helium with the well completed to a total measured depth of 2,400 meters.

Drilling preparations for Lawson 5 are underway. This major step-out before the start of the completions program will test the potential up-dip extension of the Lawson Natural Hydrogen system all the way to the “Salt Wall”, an ideal trap and seal flanking the Prairie Evaporite approximately 30 km to the northeast.
