LIBERTY’s Advent calendar is one of the most coveted in the beauty world, and for good reason.

The 2026 edition just launched with the highest value-price in its 12-year history: a staggering £1,300.

As always, the luxury calendar is going to sell out fast, and I got my hands on it to see if it’s worth the price.

Liberty Advent Calendar: Quickfire Q&A

How much is it? It’s one of the more expensive beauty calendars on the market, at £285, but the value price is also in the top range, at £1,300.

Who’s it best for? Luxury beauty lovers who want to experiment with new products or stock up on favourites.

What we loved: The curated selection of high-end items – which includes 21 full-sizes – and the fact that some drawers contain more than one product. Oh, and the gorgeous box.

What we didn’t love: The high price tag, but it wouldn’t be the Liberty Advent calendar without it.

Liberty’s iconic Advent Calendar contains an impressive 29 products this year (with 21 full-sizes), and it’s such a treat to find more than one item inside some of the drawers.

A handful of brands are regulars in the lineup (including Augustinus Bader and Sunday Riley), while new additions include ILIA Beauty, Joonbyrd and Innersense.

Liberty sticks to tradition with its model of the famous Regent Street store.

I can’t imagine fans would want it any other way (although it’s rumoured there’s a switch-up coming for 2027), with its stunning design that you actually want on display in your home.

The calendar gets a small refresh each year, this time opening out to display a gold star print.

Liberty’s drawstring bag always matches the design, and it’s great for keeping products in one place as the month goes on.

Unlike a lot of beauty Advent calendars, there’s not a ‘filler’ product in sight.

Every skincare, haircare, body and make-up treat is worth trying, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t standouts.

Augustinus Bader’s luxury Face Oil is worth £80 alone, while the Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum retails for £70.

There’s also a Sisley Paris Sisleya Essential Skin Care Lotion behind one of the 25 doors, worth a huge £155.

I love that there’s eight fragrances included (in handbag-friendly travel sizes), particularly the Verden Nocturne Magnesium Body Spray

The Verdict

For fans of luxury beauty, Liberty’s Advent calendar really is the crème de la crème.

From the stunning festive packaging to the high-end lineup, it’s the ultimate luxury buy.

The variety of skincare, make-up, body and haircare is why it’s a bestseller every year, and every single thing is worth trying.

I have no doubt that the 2026 will fly off the shelves once again, so beauty fans will need to act fast if they want it.

I also tested Avant’s Advent calendar with over £1,000 of beauty products, and No7’s that’s £65 but worth £249.
