Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Tubbercurry and surrounding areas of an overnight water supply interruption to facilitate essential works on the water network.
The interruption is required to allow for site development works along Circular Road in Tubbercurry.
As part of these works, Uisce Éireann will remove existing pipework from private land and divert it into the public road network, securing the infrastructure and ensuring safe access for future maintenance and repairs.
Works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, September 15 at 8pm. Customers in Kilmactigue, Aclare, Cloonacool, Annagh, Banada, Curry, Bellaghy, Moulough, Carrowreagh, Tubbercurry town and surrounding areas may experience disruptions to their water overnight.
Supply is expected to be restored from Wednesday morning, with normal water services returning to all affected customers by midday on Wednesday, September 16.
Uisce Éireann’s Kevin Love said: “These essential works will help secure the local water network for the future by relocating vital pipework to a more accessible location. We understand interruptions to water supply can be inconvenient and would like to thank customers for their patience and cooperation.”
