Two killed & four seriously injured after car ploughs into pedestrians before head-on crash with two other vehicles

TWO people have died and four others have been injured after a car ploughed into a group of pedestrians before a multi-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to White Rose Way in Doncaster, following the horror collision at around 11am on Sunday.

Cops said a black Mitsubishi L200 had been travelling along the carriageway before crashing into a group of four pedestrians.

The Mitsubishi was then involved in a crash with a black Audi and a silver BMW travelling on the opposite side of the carriageway, South Yorkshire Police said.

An air ambulance was summoned to the scene but despite the best efforts of paramedics, two pedestrians were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Cops are currently working to identify and inform their next of kin.

A force spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any witnesses, and anyone who may have dashcam footage, following a fatal road traffic collision in Doncaster over the weekend.

“You can share any information by either calling 101, or through our online reporting system.

“Please quote incident number 345 of 13 September 2026 when you get in touch.”
