Acclaimed singer-songwriter Bressie will showcase a more personal side of his music in Limerick this autumn when he brings his acclaimed album The Place That Has Never Been Wounded to University Concert Hall.
Over the years, the former Blizzards frontman has hopped from rock stages to television screens and beyond.
He will now perform at the University Concert Hall in Limerick on Sunday, October 4, in a special collaboration with musicians from the Irish Chamber Orchestra.
The evening opens with ICO Youth, Irish Chamber Orchestra’s ensemble for musicians aged 12–24.
Fresh from winning the Orchestra Open Section at Feis Ceoil 2026, they’ll take to the stage before Bressie, Polaris Quartet, and ICO musicians.
The Place That Has Never Been Wounded was named among The Irish Times’ Best Irish Albums of the Year.
Honest and heartfelt, the album explores connection, vulnerability, and the space we need to reflect and make sense of life.
The album delves into themes of vulnerability, relationships, connection and the need to take time out to understand what is happening in our lives.
