Archie and Lilibet ‘pulled from school by Harry & Meghan just two days into term over security concerns’

THE Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly switched their children’s school just days after the start of term over security concerns.

Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, only met their new classmates last week but have already been moved.

The two young royals have now been moved to a new school, with their parents blaming traffic for the change.

Sources close to the couple reported to HELLO! Magazine that Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, had no issue with the school itself.

Instead the pair had a problem with the practicalities of getting their two children to the school.

Traffic in the area reportedly made it difficult for Harry and Meghan to get Archie and Lilibet to the school with their vehicles in convoy – which raised further concerns.

“The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family.

“This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.”

The Sun earlier this month revealed that the Duchess of Sussex was nervous about doing the school run for children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

A source told The Sun: “The school run is a tricky issue and I understand why they are nervous about it.”

The school swap comes after Harry and Meghan were granted their first government backed security review since returning to the UK.

The Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) has written to the Duke of Sussex and informed him that his and Meghan’s situation was discussed at a meeting last week.

The Duke has fought for years for the right to taxpayer-funded police protection in the UK, arguing that the risk to him has not fallen since he quit official duties.

He pursued a legal challenge against its removal when it was taken away from him.

The appeal lasted until May last year but Harry ultimately lost the case in the Court of Appeal.
