The remaining ticket allocations will go on sale from 10am on Friday
The first batch of tickets for Electric Picnic 2027 have sold out within hours of going on sale, days after this year’s festival in Stradbally, Co Laois wrapped up.
Partner presales for eligible Bank of Ireland and Three+ customers opened at 10am on Wednesday morning, and festival organisers have now confirmed these allocations are completely sold out.
The remaining ticket allocations will go on sale from 10am on Friday.
This will be made up of loyalty tickets for returning attendees to the festival and general sale tickets, including instalment plan and camper van passes.
“Wow, Picnickers. Our 2027 partner presale tickets have officially sold out,” a post on Electric Picnic’s Instagram account read.
“Final tickets for EP27 will go on sale this Friday, September 4 at 10am. Set those alarms.”
As Electric Picnic 2026 came to an end, festival boss Melvin Benn confirmed ticket prices and capacity for the 2027 edition will remain at the same level.
General admission weekend camping tickets are priced at €325.50, while loyalty tickets are priced at €295.50 for those who have attended one or two previous Electric Picnics, and €245.50 for those who have been to three or more.
Camper van passes are priced at €140.50, with early entry passes for Thursday arrival to Stradbally ranging from €33.75 to €39.40.
This year’s Electric Picnic was an 80,000 person sell-out, with general sale tickets selling out within 90 minutes when they became available in September 2025, months ahead of the lineup being announced. Tickets for 2027 are also expected to quickly sell out on Friday.
Headliners included Lewis Capaldi, Gorillaz and Dublin rockers Fontaines DC, while the likes of Sombr, Amble, CMAT, Zara Larsson and The Saw Doctors also performed to huge crowds over the course of the three-day festival.
