GMTV’s Andrew Castle becomes a grandfather again as actress daughter welcomes baby girl

GMTV’s ANDREW Castle has become grandfather again, as his West End star daughter has welcomed a baby girl.

The tennis ace turned TV legend’s eldest child Georgina, 33 has revealed she given birth to her first baby with theatre star husband, Simon Lipkin, 40.

Georgina, who is known for theatre shows like Mean Girls and Mamma Mia!, took to Instagram to reveal the couple’s happy news.

Sharing a slew of sweet snaps of herself and her husband with their baby girl, the new mum penned: “Birdie Wilde Lipkin. 09/09/26 Never known love like it.”

Georgina’s followers rushed to share their joy at her and Simon’s news, with one writing: “So proud of you both! She is total perfection!”

Another added: “Ahhh congrats darling!!! Welcome Birdie!”

Before he was a TV staple, Andrew was the British No. 1 in tennis in the mid-1980s.

He even represented Great Britain at the Seoul 1988 and Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games.

After hanging up his racket in 1992, Andrew swapped the court for the camera, and is best known for his work on GMTV in the noughties.

Up until recently, the former tennis star was the voice of Wimbledon coverage for the BBC..
