Paul Casey and Derek Murray, who guided the Dublin ladies footballers to All-Ireland senior glory last year, have stepped down after two seasons as joint-managers of the sky blues.
Casey and Murray stepped into the sizeable shoes of Mick Bohan, who they had served under as coach/selector for three years, when he departed at the end of the 2024 season, and they made a seamless transition with Brendan Martin Cup success in their first season.
The defence of their All-Ireland crown proved much tougher this year, however, as they were dumped out at the semi-final stage when falling to Kerry by 10 points.
They did retain their Leinster crown, though, and the Dublin LGFA Executive were effusive in their praise of a duo that have given “incredible service” to the senior side over the past five seasons.
The process of finding a new manager will begin as the Dubs look to get their hands back on All-Ireland silverware in 2027.
