City had beaten rivals Liverpool to the Prem crown by just one point and the team posed for a group photo.

After Bernardo Silva and John Stones both left the Etihad this summer, Foden became the last-man standing of the treble-winning team.

Foden posted a photo of the team holding their trophies and greyed out the rest of the players, leaving himself as the only one in colour.

The team was filled with big name players like Sergio Aguero, Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva and Riyad Mahrez.

Foden later went on to become a key player for City under Guardiola after exploding in the coming seasons.

He has a total of 372 appearances for the Cityzens, scoring 110 goals.

His best season in a City shirt came in the 2023-24 season, which saw him score 27 goals in 53 appearances.

Foden has struggled to replicate that form in recent years and lost his place in the team under Guardiola last term.

That cost him a spot in Thomas Tuchel‘s England squad for the 2026 World Cup.

But he appears to be back in favour since Enzo Maresca replaced Guardiola at the helm.

Foden has started both of City’s opening league games and provided two assists in their 4-1 win over Crystal Palace last time out.
