PHIL FODEN was sent off for Manchester City against rivals Manchester United after kicking out at Bruno Fernandes.
The Manchester Derby was only in the 22nd minute when Foden was dismissed after reacting angrily to a challenge from the United playmaker.
Fernandes bundled Foden over initially, which the England star didn’t take kindly to.
Foden then appeared to kick Fernandes while on the ground, with the Portugal international wincing and going to ground.
He also swiped an arm towards Fernandes on his way up without connecting.
Foden furiously protested after Michael Oliver showed him a red and also pushed Lisandro Martinez away as tensions boiled over.
