KATIE Price has explained the bruises on her face after turning heads at the National Television Awards last week.
The reality star, 48, stepped out at the ceremony at London’s O2 having undergone a recent set of treatments just 24 hours before.

She was heavily made-up for the event, adding lashings of bronzer and fake tan to the look as well as heavy eyeshadow and overlined lips, raising eyebrows as she walked the red carpet.
But Katie has elaborated – and defended – the look on her latest YouTube chat with sister Sophie.
“We went to the NTAs, bearing in mind the day before [a cosmetic appointment] was always booked in.
“I don’t know if you remember… I said that when I had my boobs done two months ago that one was bigger than the other, so I needed it corrected while I was there.

“And me being me, I said if you can make them a little bit bigger? So they did!”
Explaining her bruised face, Katie went on: “As you get older or lose weight the side of your temples tend to cave in and go hollow like under your eyes, so he put some filler in.
“And my face – I didn’t know it would swell up like this!”
Katie explained that she asked her make-up artist to work around the swelling and fix the issue, with Sophie exclaiming that “he did an amazing job”.

Katie defended the look, explaining that in the wrong light it could have looked “like proper plaster” on her face.
She said that in reality, “everyone commented about it and I loved how I looked, exactly what I wanted!
“So mission accomplished!”
The NTAs was her first appearance as a single woman after dumping conman Lee Andrews and instructing divorce lawyers.
And insiders told The Sun that her brand new boobs was in fact a dig at her now-ex, with the mum-of-five now boasting a staggering 2500cc bust
An insider said: “She’s over Lee and is delighted with her new look.”
Katie also locked horns with Love Island stars at the NTAs.
She fumed: “I’m nice to everyone, some look at me like their s**t don’t stink.
