Oasis have heightened speculation that they will play Slane Castle next year with a weekend post on Instagram.
A video posted at the weekend saw frontman Liam Gallagher looking out on a field, with fans online saying that the setting looks like Slane’s natural amphitheatre with the castle in the distance – and also that the singer is wearing the same clothes he wore in a photo taken at the iconic venue in 1995 when Oasis supported REM.
Last Thursday, Oasis confirmed they will make a new tour announcement on Monday, following weeks of speculation about further live dates.
The date and time were revealed during a drone light show over Manchester on Thursday night.
The display above the Joie Stadium, home of Manchester City Women, saw the Oasis logo light up the sky before it was replaced with “14/09/26” and “4pm”.

Irish fans will be watching closely after Liam and Noel Gallagher brought their hugely successful Live ’25 reunion tour to Croke Park in August 2025.
More than 160,000 people attended the band’s two sold-out Dublin shows, their first concerts in Ireland since they headlined Slane Castle in 2009.
The Oasis reunion is the subject of the new documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, which opened in cinemas last week.
The directors of the new documentary told RTÉ Entertainment that they set out to make a “feelgood film” that didn’t dwell on the past but aimed to capture the estranged band’s bid to restore their legacy through the reunion tour.
