A BRIT aid worker found dead and stuffed in a suitcase may have been forced to take anti-depressants on the day of her alleged murder.
Elisabeth Ross’ body was found dumped in a derelict building in Athens on July 18, with Afghan national Sharif Ahmadzai accused of her killing.

The former boxer, 26, is now languishing in a notorious hellhole prison – where The Sun revealed that inmates have pummelled the “lady killer”.
Traces of the anti-depressant Fluoxetine were found in Elisabeth’s system during toxicological tests as forensic teams probe her cause of death.
An insider told The Sun: “It was only a small amount, nothing to suggest long-term usage.
“Police believe she could have taken it, or been forced to take it, on the day [she died] to calm down.”

Loved ones now face an agonising wait to determine how Elisabeth, 38, died after more forensic tests have been ordered.
“It was always thought toxicological tests would shed light on how she died but they have proved to be inconclusive,” said sources with knowledge of the forensic investigation.
“More lab analysis has been requested after traces of Fluoxetine were found.”
Fluoxetine is frequently used to treat depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Ahmadzai has been held pending trial on charges of intentional homicide, but robustly denied killing Elisabeth.
The refugee, who had lived and worked in Greece for years helping refugees, confessed to transferring the Scot to the derelict site.
He claimed to have found Elisabeth’s lifeless body at a flat used by him and his American wife, Alaina Hall, to hold meetings for their NGO, Love Only Nation, set up to help refugees.
Hopes of pinpointing the cause of death were dashed when pathologists called to examine the Brit’s body said it was impossible due to advanced decomposition.
Without any outward signs of injury, experts said Ross had probably died as a result of suffocation.
In the three days after her death and before she was found, Ahmadzai admitted using her credit cards to steal more than £8,500.
He also used her phone to send misleading messages to family and friends, believed to be a ploy to stop them reporting her missing.
But police say they are still flummoxed by the lack of motive for the crime.

“We believe he did it but the question is why?” one said.
“His wife assisted us in our inquiry but she is non-plussed too.”
The mystery deepened as it emerged that Ahmadzai was “badly beaten up” in Korydallos prison where he has been detained pending trial.

Ahmadzai’s lawyers had previously demanded the Scottish-born charity worker’s health records be released as part of the investigation.
A cop said: “The latest findings have not changed our view that he is the culprit who cut this young woman’s life short.”
