Backlash has kicked off with fans rushing to X to complain about the ‘brutal’ coaching shake-up.
Fans stated: “ITV need to realise that the only reason the majority of the audience watch is because of you. There is no point making further series without Tom Jones.”
A second damned: “Hands up if you’re p***ed off that they gave Tom Jones the boot!”

“This is the world we now live in – where a financial spreadsheet can axe Sir Tom Jones from The Voice when it has always been his call to make. The man is an institution. The pen pushers win again,” raged a fourth.
“Hopefully their ratings will go down so much they will have to axe the show. Tom Jones is The Voice!” another user penned.

“Why has he gone ??? He’s brilliant,” backed another.
“Which means some 20+ year old nitwit producer thinks he’s too old. With global superstars like Dolly Parton and Bonnie Tyler passing, it’s sad,” a viewer noted.

Carol Vorderman added: “Terrible decision imho… I saw you perform at Car Fest and you remain simply incredible and A LEGEND. You ARE the voice.”

Pop star Cheryl from Girls Aloud is set to take over Sir Tom’s chair for the next run in a huge overhaul for the talent show.
Tom first joined The Voice back in 2012 as one of the show’s first coaches.
Other judges on the show will include Aitch from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Kelly Rowland.
The Sun previously revealed rapper Aitch was to replace McFly duo Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, who are also leaving the show.
Longtime host Emma Willis is off to present Strictly Come Dancing, with Stacey Solomon and Alesha Dixon stepping in as the new co-hosting duo.
The pop legend was unceremoniously fired from the ITV singing show in a brutal move as the singing contest continues.
Upset fans have called Sir Tom’s exit a ‘massive mistake’ and questioned the show’s new lineup.

A source told The Sun that Tom only found out that he had been booted very last minute.

The performer penned: “To be clear, I did not want to leave The Voice as I love the show and really appreciate the audience.
