Benn’s bid to claim the WBC welterweight title went up in smoke in just TWO ROUNDS of their Sin City showdown early this morning.
Garcia dropped the Brit with a peach of a right hand early in the second before referee Thomas Taylor halted his follow-up barrage against the ropes.
The stoppage in Benn’s ill-fated return to 147lbs was the FIRST of his professional career.
And as a precaution due to the extreme weight cut, he performed to get down to the championship mark, he was taken to the hospital for additional medical checks,
