The Irish band are set to perform their biggest-ever headline show
Fontaines D.C. have announced a second date at Slane Castle next summer.
The Irish band is now set to perform on Saturday, June 26, and on Sunday, June 27, as part of their European and UK tour in 2027.
Tickets are already available on artist and MCD pre-sales, before going on general sale at 10am on Thursday, September 3, on Ticketmaster.
Prices start from €89.25, including booking fee and €1 charity donation to Focus Ireland.
The extra date has been added “due to demand”, a spokesperson for the MCD Productions said in a post on Instagram.
The gig at Slane Castle in Co Meath, one of the biggest concert venues in the country, is set to be the band’s biggest headline show to date.
The first date was announced by the band themselves during their Electric Picnic show, and later confirmed on Instagram.
The announcement was displayed on the big screens on stage during the band’s Sunday night show in Stradbally.
Irish rock group, consisting of Grian Chatten, Conor Curley, Conor ‘Deego’ Deegan III, Tom Coll, and Carlos O’Connell, will be joined by several artists on both Slane nights.
They include Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams and Irish artists Damien Dempsey and Madra Salach, with more to be announced.
