TWO lucky Brits have kicked off September 2026 as brand-new millionaires thanks to NS&I’s monthly Premium Bonds draw.
Millions of savers across the UK can now check if ERNIE (the Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment) has sent a tax-free cash windfall their way.
NS&I’s “Agent Million” has already visited this month’s two main winners who both landed the top £1,000,000 prize.
A winner in Norwich holds the maximum £50,000 in Premium Bonds and purchased the winning ticket back in January 2022.
In London, the second millionaire winner holds £45,500 and bought their lucky bond in January 2026.
How to check your September 2026 results
While the top two winners get a personal visit, everyone else can check for prizes ranging from £25 up to £100,000 from Wednesday, 2 September.

Originally launched in 1956 by then-Chancellor Harold Macmillan, the scheme has grown from a top prize of £1,000 to awarding two £1million jackpots every month.
Instead of earning traditional interest, your money goes into a monthly draw where every prize payout from £25 to £1,000,000 is completely tax-free.
Savers can invest anything from £25 up to the maximum £50,000 limit, and every penny is protected by the Treasury.
Newly purchased bonds must be held for one full calendar month before they become eligible for their first draw.
Could you be sitting on unclaimed cash?
Even if you haven’t won big this month, you could still be owed a share of £126,787,100 in unclaimed money.
NS&I says it is sitting on more than 2.8million unclaimed prizes because holders moved house, changed bank accounts, or forgot to update their contact details.
To see if you have forgotten winnings waiting for you, enter your holder’s number into the online prize checker or app to see historic draws.
