Tim and Sally Metcalfe (Joe Duttine and Sally Dynevor) have had a house full of troubled kids since becoming foster parents in Coronation Street.
They have spent months caring for the Michaelis children, following their parents’ incarceration, but more recently welcomed Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin) into their home.
Lucy was put into foster care after her dad, Tim’s cousin Richie, was arrested for the murder of her mum, Rachel, and soon moved in with Sally and Tim.
It has been a difficult adjustment period for the teen, with things only set to get worse next week, if new spoilers are anything to go by.
The day of Rachel’s funeral is fast approaching, but Tim is caught off-guard when Lucy reveals that she doesn’t want to go.
Somehow, they manage to get Lucy to attend, but when she returns from the funeral, she is clearly frustrated.
She admits that she is disappointed her dad wasn’t there, as he was the only reason she’d agreed to go.
The next day, Lucy is up to no good once again, and this time it is Shanice who is caught up in her misbehaviour.
When Lucy offers Shanice some money and tells her to get some sweets from the Kabin, Shanice points out that she’s not allowed out on her own.
Lucy promises she won’t tell, and it’s enough to encourage Shanice to go shopping.
However, Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) later arrives with Shanice in tow and explains to Sally how she had been by herself.
Sally is sure that Lucy is behind Shanice’s disappearing act.
Unfortunately, Lucy has further tricks up her sleeve, as Sally is set to discover… What has she got planned?
