RYAN GARCIA and Conor Benn have agreed to a late rule change just days out from their welterweight world title fight.
Garcia defends his 147lb WBC belt on Saturday night in Las Vegas against British challenger Benn.
But much has been made of weight with both facing brutal cuts just to make the 10st 7lb limit.
Per rules in Neveda, fighters are required to wear 10oz gloves for any bouts over 148lb.
Anything below 147lb is 8oz.
But according to Chris Mannix, Garcia has requested permission for both boxers to wear 8oz should either weigh-in over the welterweight limit.

And the rule change is said to have been accepted from both sides.
The Nevada State Atheltic Commission are now due to rule on whether to accept the request.
Benn, 29, has not fought at welterweight in over FOUR YEARS following two middleweight mega-fights with Chris Eubank Jr, 36, in 2025.
He lost the initial thriller but won the November rematch before returning at 150lb to beta 37-year-old Regis Prograis in April.

Benn has had to fend off concerns over his weight cut after posting pictures where he appeared to already be looking gaunt in the face.
He said: “Of course it’s a gamble, but is that not what makes it fun?
“The risk, the challenge. It’s exciting. A lot of people said I couldn’t make the weight. Watch me do it.
“It’s been four and a half years since I made it, and it does feel like I’ve been through the pits of hell.
“When I mean ‘pits of hell,’ I’ve had a fight with Satan, and God brought me back to life.
“That’s how it feels making this weight, but ultimately I’ve done it, and that’s it.”
Garcia – who won the belt by beating Mario Barrios on points in February – warned he will not let Benn use weight as an excuse for defeat.
He said: “All we can do is go by a past experience. He cut back down to 150 to fight Rigas. So we kind of seen how he bloated up and how he looked.
“So all I could see is that. Now he has an extra 3 pounds to go. But I don’t want to hear no excuses.
“At the end of the day, he doesn’t have a rehydration clause. He’s about to be 170, 175 in the ring, isn’t that what he was saying?
“I don’t want to be hearing no crybaby s*** from him.
