The Medieval Marathon is taking place in Kilkenny City on Saturday with a number of roads set to temporarily close to facilitate the event
Multiple roads will be temporarily closed across Kilkenny City on Saturday.
The Medieval Marathon Kilkenny is taking place in the city on Saturday, September 12, between the hours of 8am and 11am.
As a result, motorists are warned a number of roads across the city will be closed on Saturday morning to facilitate the event.
Temporary road closures will be in place at the following locations:
Motorists travelling through Kilkenny City on Saturday morning are warned to expect delays and to allow additional time for their journey.
Kilkenny County Council has apologised for any inconvenience the temporary road closures may cause.
The marathon is starting at Abbey Quarter in Kilkenny City with the race finishing at the Water Barracks.
