A POPULAR outdoor brand has slashed the prices of stock as part of huge closing down sales.

The high street giant has launched “everything must go” sales across various stores.

Outdoor store Millets is scrapping multiple branches this year, with parent company JD Sports Fashion gradually rolling out a large-scale closure project.

The number of UK Millets stores has drastically reduced over the years, with 47 left of around 120 stores.

Portsmouth, Ipswich, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Hitchin are among locations that have lost Millets branches this year.

Many have been converted to Go Outdoors stores or simply closed down entirely.
