A MARRIED at First Sight star has died at 39 after a year-long battle with an aggressive brain tumour, leaving the wife he met on the show heartbroken.

Adrian Szymaniak was diagnosed with grade IV glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer, in July 2025.

Fans had raised more than £500,000 to help him fight the disease but it kept coming back.

His heartbroken wife Anita announced his death on September 5.

Adrian had spent his last weeks with his loved ones, receiving round-the-clock nursing care.

Anita wrote: “With great pain we inform that Adrian has passed away.

“In these extremely difficult moments, what matters most to us is silence, closeness and the chance to say goodbye to him among those nearest to him.”

Adrian and Anita met on the Polish version of the reality TV show, wedding in 2018.

The couple starred in the show’s third series and hit it off.

They went on to have two children together.

After Adrain’s devastating disagnosis, he underwent surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

He also went through a privately funded treatment known as TTFields after successful fundraising efforts.

Close friend Piotr Kęsik paid an emotional tribute to the reality star, saying: “Today we say goodbye to a good man.

“Adrian was joyful, honest, cheerful, loyal.”
