Man Utd vs Sabah preview

Manchester United return to Champions League football for the first time since the 2023-24 season under Michael Carrick.

It’s United’s 26th appearance in the competition, which is a record for an English club, and the first time experiencing its new league phase format.

Having missed out on European football altogether last season, Carrick and co will be eager to make up for lost time against the second-lowest ranked side in the tournament, whose entire squad is valued at around £15million.

To do that, they’ll need to arrest their UCL slump over recent years, with the Red Devils having won only one of their last seven matches in the competition.

But at odds of 1/10 to collect three points, United are expected to return to winning ways tonight, despite squandering a 2-1 lead against Everton on Sunday.
