Flavours and vibes big enough to fill a converted showroom.

This pizza powerhouse – cousin to Tipo 00 and Osteria Ilaria – tickles all the senses from dough to woah. First comes the aroma: hot bread puffing up in the gas-wood hybrid oven. Then it’s the texture of a chewy crust, light and charred. Finally, toppings. Perhaps a classic margherita with sweet tomato and fresh basil or the more intense salsiccia that smacks you with spicy pork and fennel sausage and a left hook of gorgonzola.

Elsewhere, rock flathead is kissed by the chargrill and comes in a lake of lemon, caper and herb butter that’s perfect for any crusts in need of a quick dunk.

The room’s soaring industrial ceiling, polished concrete floors and fluted glass define understated chic; the big horseshoe bar creates good times with affordable, mostly Italian wines and a killer selection of amari and grappa.

Good to know: The menu’s unexpectedly excellent for gluten-intolerant diners – even the pizzas.
