The Spanish manager becomes the 25TH manager to be axed by Marinakis in the last 16 years.
Last season, the Greek businessman went through four managers at Nottingham Forest.
Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked early in the season before his replacement Ange Postecoglou was axed after just eight winless games.
Former Burnley and Everton boss Sean Dyche was then hired before getting in the firing line after 25 games.
