JOURNALISTS have been left drenched after a roof leak at Barcelona’s Nou Camp.
Rain showers quickly became a major problem during Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Feyenoord despite the stadium’s £1.3billion redevelopment.
Mikos Gouka, who works for Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, has shared footage of the Nou Camp’s media section receiving a torrential downpour on X.
Water appeared pooling on the workstations with scaffolding visible behind the journalists.
An individual was then filmed reaching to grab a sodden item from the drenched desk while sheltering from the rain.
It comes after the Catalan side reportedly ran out of money during their £1.3billion stadium facelift.

Work began on the stadium after the 2022-23 season, with Barcelona eventually returning in November last year.
Yet significant work is still required as the club plans to increase the Nou Camp’s capacity to an incredible 105,000.
Heavy construction remains ongoing on the stadium’s upper tier, with Barcelona playing in front of a reduced 62,000 capacity.
It is understood that the club has asked Barcelona City Council for permission to temporarily return to the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys during the 2027-28 season.
