The program launches amid a major wave of business ownership transitions in Quebec. According to Repreneuriat Québec, nearly 16,000 privately owned Quebec businesses reported plans to sell or transfer ownership within the following 12 months in the first quarter of 2026.

The program will be delivered in Montreal over three full days, totalling 18 hours, on October 1, October 23 and November 12, 2026. It is intended for business owners, CFOs, finance executives and senior leaders considering acquisitions as a strategic growth lever.

The curriculum covers acquisition strategy, target evaluation, legal considerations, financial and tax analysis, financing, post-acquisition integration and value creation.

Training is delivered with leading transaction professionals from BDC, PwC, National Bank of Canada, Investissement Québec, BCF Business Law, La Caisse and Altero Conseil. Participants also learn directly from entrepreneurs who have completed acquisitions.
