GABRIEL JESUS revealed he was forced to train alone this summer ahead of his move to Barcelona.
The striker joined the Spanish side as part of a deal worth an initial £8.6million after Arsenal decided to cash in on him.
The Gunners were keen to offload the Brazilian because he earned over £200,000-a-week and was no longer in Mikel Arteta‘s plans.
Jesus said: “The truth is I was training, I did the entire pre-season normally with Arsenal.
“And I obviously knew that, probably, I wouldn’t play there or get some opportunities – but no one told me anything.
“I’m a professional, obviously I was training with the group, and out of nowhere they put me to train apart from the group.

“I was training, I was doing my maximum to be ready if I had the chance to play at a high level again.”
Jesus, 29, joined Barca on transfer deadline day last week and has explained how quickly the move happened.
He told Sporty TV: “In the last week [of the transfer window] it was very quick.
“My agent was amazing and then there was the work of the club and Deco (Barcelona’s president).
