A WOMAN who would blow £30 a day on her Greggs order has revealed how she finally lost 14st when a doc said she’d be ‘dead before 30’
Liv Lister says she would scoff four sausage rolls, two chicken bakes, a sausage, bean and cheese melt, a breakfast baguette and doughnut from Greggs for her lunch daily.

The hairdresser, who tipped the scales at 27st 8lbs at her heaviest and was a dress size 32, says she would scoff the mammoth order within an hour – and would never share with her partner.
The 27-year-old says she would even borrow money from people in order to fund her insatiable £30-a-day Greggs habit, that totalled an eye-watering £10,080 per year.
After struggling with her size since she was a teenager, Liv made the decision to lose weight at the beginning of 2025 after she claims her GP told her she ‘wouldn’t live to see her 30s’.
Liv started using Mounjaro in March 2025 after purchasing the skinny jab from an online pharmacy.

She says she soon became ‘hooked’ on the weight loss injection after losing 2st within the first month.
Liv, who is 5ft 6ins, has since lost a whopping 14 stone, slimming down from 27st 8lbs to 13st 6lbs.
Liv says Mounjaro has ‘changed her life’ and has now been put off Greggs so much that she ‘can’t even look at it anymore’.
Liv, from Atherstone, Warwickshire, said: “From the minute I woke up, to the minute I went to sleep I would eat.

“Food was my best friend, or so I thought at the time.
“I used to order the whole of Greggs, I’m not even joking, and eat it all probably within the space of an hour.
“It was a very dark time in my life.
“I used to have four sausage rolls, two chicken bakes, a sausage bean and cheese melt, a baguette, plus cakes.
“I was ordering that every day whenever we had the money.
“If we didn’t have the money then I would find it, I would [borrow] it.
“It was a good £30 a time, maybe more.
“I wouldn’t share [with my partner] and I would eat it in 30-60 minutes, it didn’t take me long.”

After years of eating from ‘the minute she woke up to the minute she went to bed’, Liv decided to lose weight at the start of 2025 after her GP warned her she wouldn’t make it to 30.
Liv said: “My GP told me I wouldn’t [live to] see my 30s because I was at my heaviest – I was 25 at the time.
“I had sleep apnoea and I would wake up in the night gasping for breath and actually end up vomiting, that scared me.
“I went back to the doctor and asked for weight loss surgery, I’d never heard of Mounjaro until my GP told me about it.
“They said the surgery was invasive so they told me to try the jab and see how I got on.”
Liv started using Mounjaro in March 2025 and soon became ‘hooked’ after losing 2st within the first four weeks of using the jab.
She has since lost a total of 14 stone, dropping nine dress sizes – from a size 32 to size 14.
Liv said: “Once it [the Mounjaro] got into my system and my hunger started decreasing and my food noise started decreasing, I was hooked.

“It changed my life, I’ve lost 14 stone in 15 months.
“In my first month I lost two stone, it felt amazing seeing my weight go down so quickly.”
Liv says she feels more confident after dropping the weight and wears her loose skin as a ‘trophy’ to illustrate the journey she’s been on.
Liv said: “I definitely feel confident, but sometimes I do still look in the mirror and see that big girl looking back.
“I do have my old body hanging off me. It impacts me because I can’t see what my true body would look like right now.
“I don’t know if my stomach would be flatter, if my arms would be thinner – I see a lot of wrinkles.
“I was going to go for skin removal surgery but I thought ‘you know what it’s my journey, it’s my body’.
“I don’t want to put myself through that and it [the loose skin] just shows my journey and what I’ve been through.
“I now look back at it and think ‘I’ve really worked hard for this skin’.
“I use it now as a trophy, I’ve earned it.
“It’s nothing to be ashamed of – it’s just part of who I am now.”
Liv says she will continue to use Mounjaro, with the hope of reaching her 12st 6lbs goal weight by the end of the year, despite being diagnosed with gallstones in March 2026.
Liv said: “I’ve been put off Greggs now, I can’t even look at it anymore.
“I’m still using Mounjaro at the moment.
“I’ve got gallstones unfortunately so I’m only allowed on the lowest dose, which is 2.5mg, and I am still actively losing.
“My goal is 12st 6lbs.
“I’m hoping by the end of the year I’ll be there.”
A spokesperson for Lilly, who manufacture Mounjaro, said: “Patient safety is Lilly’s top priority.
“We take any reports regarding patient safety seriously and actively monitor, evaluate, and report safety information for all our medicines.
