Gorey Tidy Towns says thank you

Gorey Tidy Towns sends a huge thank you to all who attended the Market House Festival in Gorey in July and donated their plastic bottles and cans to the orange Re-turn bins at the event.

The bottles and cans were sorted by the Tidy Towns Tús and CE scheme workers and brought to the Re-turn collection point where the sum of €189 was generated. Gorey Tidy Towns is most grateful to Anita McLoughlin, Gorey Kilmuckridge Municipal District Manager, for generously donating the proceeds to Gorey Tidy Towns. The funds will be used by the volunteers to help maintain its projects around the town.

Soccer Stars classes

Soccer Stars is a leading football school for young children, and over the past four years we have made a positive impact across Leinster. We specialise in football coaching for children aged 1.5 to 5 years, with a mission to support their physical, social, and emotional development through fun, engaging, and pressure-free football programmes.

Our South East locations across Counties Wexford and Wicklow are where little feet take big steps, with children enjoying fun, friendly football classes led by experienced coaches who help build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a love for being active.

We offer midweek classes, weekend sessions, and a school PE programme, making it easy for families to find a convenient time and location. We’re also continually expanding so that more families can enjoy a Soccer Stars class close to home. Whether a child is taking their very first kick or developing their early football skills, every session combines learning, friendship, and fun in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Classes take place in Kilanerin Community Centre on Sundays from 10am to 1pm.
