INTER MILAN gifted Real Madrid a 2-1 win at the Bernabeu after two nightmare errors gifted the home side a win to kick off their Champions League campaign.
Yann Bisseck first misjudged a challenge with Kylian Mbappe that allowed the Frenchman to peel off and slot home the opener.
Then goalkeeper Josep Martinez channeled his inner 2018 Loris Karius as he dwelled on the ball and allowed Fede Valverde to steal in and double the lead.
Inter had done all the early running, but Madrid punished them for their mistakes.
In a very open game, Inter Milan did eventually get a goal back through Carlos Augusto with about 20 minutes to go.
But Mourinho’s men held on to get three points on the board.
