RUBY Wax has cancelled her upcoming live shows due to “circumstances outside her control” even she had promised they would go ahead.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here star was on a national tour with her one woman show which was described as a “bold and deeply human evening of storytelling.”

But after cancelling a show in Exeter, Ruby had promised her remaining dates would go ahead only to update fans that they too were being scrapped.
“I’m incredibly sorry to share some difficult news. Due to circumstances outside of my control, the remaining dates of my ‘An Evening With Ruby Wax’ tour will no longer be going ahead,” the TV personality and author posted on social media.
Ruby’s shows in Sheffield, Durham, Edinburgh and Kidderminster will not go ahead.
The comedian continued: “We’ve done everything we can behind the scenes to try and find a way forward, but sadly this is no longer possible.”

She added she was “truly sorry” for the last minute cancellation as she had been “very much looking forward to seeing you, and I’m disappointed that we won’t get to share these evenings together.”
Ruby said that while her current tour had been scrapped she “reassured” fans that her upcoming ‘Absolutely Famous’ tour.
“Those dates, later this year and throughout 2027, are going ahead as planned, and I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the road and seeing you there,” she wrote.
Ruby instructed her fans to contact their ticket provider for refunds, but fans were concerned for her after the 11th hour cancellation.

“Poor Ruby, she’s rushed her knee replacement I think it definitely needs time to heal,” wrote one fan in the comments.

Her absolutely Fabulous Tour sees Ruby hit the stage with her long time TV producer, Clive Tulloh, where they go over some of the most memorable moments of her interview show, When Ruby Wax Met…
Through archival footage, Ruby regales the audience with insights into some of her most intense interviews including with OJ Simpson, Pamela Anderson and Madonna.
Ruby was the script editor for Absolutely Fabulous and even made some cameos in its many seasons.
Ab Fab, as its affectionately known, first aired in 1992 but showed its final episode in 2004 after five successful seasons.
The show later aired three 20th anniversary specials in 2012, much to the excitement of fans missing the programme.
A feature film of the show was even created due to popular demand, airing in 2016.
