His reputation was in tatters in April following a torrid 104-day spell at Chelsea.

Winning just 11 of his 23 games, his nightmare reign at Stamford Bridge ended in April when a 3-0 defeat at Brighton cemented the club’s worst run of league results since 1912.
All Rosenior achieved during that period in West London was becoming the butt of jokes and the star of many a viral meme with his LinkedIn language.
Put simply, the Blues squad “weren’t having him,” and neither were the fans. But Paris FC’s players and supporters are.
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the ever-confident 42-year-old is back.

Rosenior’s unbeaten start has his new side sitting third in the top-flight. More impressively, they are already FIVE POINTS clear of neighbours and back-to-back European champions Paris Saint-Germain.
While the dressing-room dynamic proved to be his downfall at Chelsea, it could not be more opposite in the French capital.
The LinkedIn lingo appears to have gone out of the window since he took over Paris FC in July ahead of only their second season back in Ligue 1.
Instead, a few F-bombs appear to be doing the trick. And he is now going viral for all the right reasons.

The first clip provided a behind-the-scenes clip of his players hanging on his every word in the dressing room as they led 1-0 at home to Nice on August 30.
Rosenior told his squad: “Football is everything. You have to take care of that f**g ball. I want us to either keep possession or enter the tackle. Stay concentrated. I do not want us to survive our way through the game and win 1-0. F that.
“That is not what we are here for. Play. Go and get the second goal. We scored and then went ‘ok. We are 1-0 up.’ No, no no. Not now. Not now. The game is 0-0. Go and get the second goal.”
He got the desired response with his side going on to win 3-0. That was followed by another fiery clip of his pre-match speech ahead of Sunday’s 3-2 victory at Marseille.
And having already experienced success in France by overseeing Strasbourg’s return to European football, he may have just found the ideal place to prosper away from the toxicity of Chelsea and pressure cooker of the Premier League.
The multi-billionaire Arnault family, owners of the Louis Vuitton (LVMH) luxury group, and minority stakeholders Red Bull bought Paris FC in 2024 with the ambition of getting the club into the top tier.
After acclimatising to Ligue 1, they had no doubts over turning to Rosenior to lead the next step of their plan to eventually challenge PSG’s stranglehold on French football.
There is no doubting his coaching credentials. Chelsea was an impossible job to turn down. The harsh reality is it came too soon.
Though Rosenior is never one to doubt himself. And, rather than stay at home counting his £4m Blues pay-off, he is relishing the chance to silence his doubters and forge his own path back to the big time across the Channel.
