A LOTTERY punter could lose a £1million prize.
The winning ticket holder has only hours left to make their claim for the UK Millionaire Maker draw.
The ticket was bought in Hartlepool for a draw in March and the winning draw code is JLZG 97793.
The deadline to claim is tomorrow, Wednesday Sept 9, and if it is not claimed the cash will go to the good causes fund.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery told Teesside Live: “We’re still hopeful we’ll find the lucky winner and reunite them with this incredible £1 million prize.
“We’ve had players discover winning tickets and come forward at the very last minute, so there’s every reason to believe this £1million prize could still be claimed.

The £1million prize is one of six still to be claimed by Lotto players – but they are dwarfed by the controversy surrounding a player who has claimed a £12million Lotto win from Rhondda Cynon Taf which is still being investigated.
Tickets can be checked through the National Lottery app, online, or by scanning retail tickets using the app.
Those who believe they may have won but no longer have their ticket can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn.
