He then quickly gets on his feet and rushes away from the fiery crash.

The shocking new video was filmed by Olvin Henriquez, who was walking past the deadly crash with his family, including his 4-month-old daughter.

Henriquez said to NBC6 and Telemundo 51: “My family and I quickly turned the car around, fearing the plane might explode violently.

“It was shocking to witness all of that. Then, unexpectedly, we saw the pilot jump out of the cockpit door and run for his life as the plane rapidly burst into flames.

“The mere thought that, just moments earlier, my entire family could have been dragged along by the plane — as other vehicles and people unfortunately were — is terrifying.”

Tragically, all five people killed were inside vehicles outside the airport grounds, including a van carrying cleaning company employees, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chair Jennifer Homendy said.

Homendy described the wreckage as “utter devastation”.

She confirmed that the Amazon flight crew survived the crash and have been released from hospital.

The victims have not been identified.

The flight data ‌recorder and cockpit voice recorder have been recovered from the crash as the NTSB investigate.

Prime Air Flight 7598 was on its third flight of the day, flying from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami.

Videos of the landing captured the aircraft completely overrunning the runway by 400 metres, moving at 129 mph, according to Flightradar24.

The aircraft then smashed through the perimeter fence, plowed through a moving Toyota Corolla, and continued onto a grassy field.

It remains unclear why the plane was unable to stop.

Dramatic footage showed thick black smoke billowing into the sky as emergency services rushed to extinguish the flames and rescue survivors.

Harrowing emergency audio captures first responders saying “the plane is one fire. Put your game faces on guys.”

Firefighters raced to put out the heavy flames, but the operation was extremely dangerous as the plane’s left engine was reportedly still running.

Rescue crews reportedly told the pilots they couldn’t shut it down because they would need to energize the aircraft.

Firefighters were then forced to flood the engine with water in an attempt to disable it.

Those freed from trapped vehicles were seriously injured by the crash.

One victim was stuck underneath a vehicle and had to be released by specialist rescue crews.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Chief Raied Jadallah described the operation as a “very complex situation.”

The fiery chaos and scattered debris forced the closure of one of the United States’s busiest airports.

Amazon released a statement confirming it would fully cooperate with any investigation into the incident.
