AMY Hart has landed a big new job, hosting podcast Private Parts – following in the footsteps of Jamie Laing and the latest host Olivia Bentley, who quit last month.

It comes just months after Amy stepped down from hosting Love Island spin-off The Morning After, which was then rebranded as The Debrief, hosted by Shakira Khan, Toni Laites, and Yasmin Pettet.

A source told The Sun: “This new gig is massive for Amy and her first episode is out this week.

“It’s a guest stint for a few months but if she goes down well, there is the hope it will become a permanent gig.

“It’s one of the most popular podcasts out there – it’s where Jamie Laing started out after leaving Made In Chelsea, and now he’s one of the kings of the podcast world.

“When Liv Bentley decided to leave recently, bosses approached Amy and quickly realised she was the perfect choice to step in.

A spokesperson for Amy said: “Amy is a huge fan of Private Parts and is delighted to be covering as host for the next few months.”

This comes after Amy revealed why she stepped down from hosting the Love Island podcast alongside Indiyah Polack.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Amy said: “I’ve got two kids. Two kids is a lot and I love Love Island so much and it was a joy of a job but I did drive three hours every night.

“Leaving home at 7pm, getting home at 2am in the morning sometimes, which with one child who is a really good sleeper is really easy but two children it’s quite a lot when it’s a 12 week old.”

“And getting someone to babysit a 12-week-old and a 3 month old is a lot,” she added.

“It’s a lot for my husband and in the end I had to put my family first.”

The ITV2 star welcomed her second tot, Dexter – who is a rainbow baby following her two devastating miscarriages – with husband Sam Rason, 38, in March.

They were already parents to three-year-old Stanley.
