Fianna Fáil will kick off their annual Think In events in Offaly this year, with a number of topics on the table for consideration.
Fianna Fáil TDs, councillors and senators will gather in Tullamore to discuss cost of living, infrastructure and employment.
“I’m delighted to welcome the Taoiseach, Ministers and my Fianna Fáil parliamentary colleagues to Tullamore for our annual Think-In,” Offaly Fianna Fáíl TD Tony McCormack told the Irish Independent.
“It’s a great opportunity to showcase Offaly and all that our county has to offer. There is a very important couple of days of discussion ahead as we set our priorities for the new Dáil term and the upcoming Budget,” he said.
“The cost of living, housing, supporting jobs and businesses, childcare and delivering the infrastructure our growing country needs will all be central to those discussions.
“For me, the focus has to be on practical measures that make a real difference to people’s everyday lives, while continuing to invest in our communities and our economy for the future.
“I’m particularly proud that those discussions are taking place here in the heart of Offaly,” Dep McCormack finished.
