Irish cinematographer Darran Tiernan was among the winners at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles at the weekend.
The Los Angeles-based director of photography won the Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (One Hour) award for his work on the episode Step into My Office from the Prime Video superhero series Spider-Noir.
It is the Dubliner’s first Emmy win and nomination.
Tiernan’s other television credits include The Penguin, Barry, Westworld, and the RTÉ series Single-Handed.
The Emmy Awards take place in Los Angeles over a number of nights, and the ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday focused on the behind-the-scenes categories.
Apple TV’s comedy-horror Widow’s Bay led the winners at the weekend with eight awards.
It was followed by DTF St Louis with six wins while The Pitt won four Emmys.
Palm Royale and Margo’s Got Money Troubles both won three awards.
The Primetime Emmys ceremony, hosted by Mariska Hargitay, will be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on 14 September.
