A light aircraft has crashed south of Brisbane, sparking a grass fire.

Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the crash site along Musch Road in the Logan suburb of Stockleigh just after 11am on Monday.

Half an hour after the crash was reported, a Queensland ambulance spokesperson said they were yet to assess any patients.

Nine fire trucks were at the scene, with more on the way.
