PIO ESPOSITO has reportedly dealt Arsenal and Manchester United a deadline-day blow by penning a new contract with Inter Milan.
The 21-year-old forward caught the eye of several clubs across Europe with a string of impressive displays for the Nerazzurri last season.

He bagged ten goals and racked up six assists in 48 appearances as Christian Chivu’s side romped to their 21st Scudetto.
Arsenal and United both held an interest in acquiring the striker’s services, with SunSport exclusively revealing the Gunners sent scouts to watch the Italy international in pre-season action.

But those hopes have been dashed as he’s said to have inked a new deal with the Serie A giants.
According to multiple reports, Esposito put pen to paper on a new deal on September 1.

Esposito was seen leaving Inter’s city headquarters earlier today and was the picture of happiness as he posed with fans.
Inter have yet to officially announce his new deal.
But quizzed on his new contract, Esposito told Sky Sport Italia: “I am absolutely delighted.
“I always want to keep improving.”

Esposito’s new contract with Inter will reportedly expire in the summer of 2032.
It’s currently unknown what his pay packet is.
But it’ll likely be a tasty one given the fact the Italian is one of the hottest prospects in all of world football.
Esposito has made two appearances for Inter so far this campaign, bagging a goal and an assist in their season opener against Monza late last month.
Inter will be back in action on Saturday, welcoming Napoli to the San Siro.
